Photo Archiving

Bad things such as a fire or house burglary can (and do) happen. Those events are extremely traumatic in themselves but most of your possessions can be replaced and damage can be repaired. However, unique heirloom items cannot be replaced. Heirlooms include items passed down from previous generations and things with sentimental value such as photos, mementos, and memorabilia.

Digitizing and archiving these items is critical to preserving them. Some items (such as photos and home movies) also decay over time so it makes sense to preserve them digitally. Key elements of photo organizing are Backup and Archival systems that can include:

• Digital Archiving
• Backup/Archive Plans & Training

Don’t risk losing irreplaceable memories. Once those heirloom items are gone it is often too late.
